We are Kathy and Jim Morrison, known as Morrison's Chair Caning. We have been professional chair seat restorers for about thirty years. We can restore most chair seats in press cane, "blind" or "French" cane, traditional hand cane, shaker tape, or fiber rush.

Morrison's works with local furniture restoration experts, which allows us to offer a broader array of services. We specialize in the cane, rush, or shaker-tape seat. Exhibitions and Craft Events As of September 9, 2007, we at Morrison's Chairs have RETIRED from craft shows. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the patrons, fellow artists, and friends who have supported us for the past many years. While we no longer do shows, we are still open for business on the internet and at our Gaithersburg, Maryland location. Product Testing Product testing is an arduous job that never seems to end, as you can see from the above staff pictures. These poor people never seem to get a break. The staff now have the following assignments: LIAM is in the ADULT CHAIR division; BRENNEN and MACKENZIE handle the YOUTH CHAIR division; and WYATT performs the CHILDRENS division duties on his own.
